Carl has been practicing massage therapy since 1991 and is a Reiki Master Teacher. He moved here from Rhode Island where he owned Health Focus 101 Center for Complementary Medicine for 19 years.
In his business he had Doctors, DO’s, Acupuncturists, Massage Therapists, Psychotherapist, ND’s, Hypnotherapists and Energy therapists all working together. Embracing both allopathic (medical) and naturopathic (natural) for our patients health.
He takes an interest and volunteers at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach. He is an active member and board member of "Blue Friends" a Juno Beach conservation group. He is also on the board of directors of "Friends of Jupiter Beach" another conservation group in Jupiter Florida.
Carl was also an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association Rhode Island Chapter where he was President for 4 years, 1st VP 2 years, 2nd VP 2 Years, 3rd VP 2 Years, Treasurer for 3 years and government relations chair 1 year. He was webmaster for 8 years designing Rhode Island’s website www.RIAMTA.COM. A Rhode Island national delegate for three AMTA National conferences.
He served on the Board of the New England Regional Conference for 9 years running the NERC conference in 2001 and redesigned the present conference in 2007.
